Evey Dashboard - Finding events by searching, filtering, and sorting
Updated over 5 months ago

When navigating through the Evey app, you'll encounter the main dashboard, which lists all your events along with various options for searching, filtering, and sorting. Let’s explore how you can utilize each of them effectively:

The tabs at the top: All Events, Upcoming Events, Archived Events

  • All Events - This shows the list of all the events you currently have for your store.

  • Upcoming Events - This displays the events which have their start date within 45 days.

  • Archived Events - This shows the events that you have archived in case you need to reference their data.

Searching and filtering options: ‘Search events’ field, Tagged with, Publish status

  • Search events - This field allows you to type in some keywords related to the event

  • Tagged with - This feature enables users to locate content by specific tags or keywords associated with it, simplifying search outcomes through organized categorization, thereby boosting efficiency and ensuring easy access to relevant information.

  • Publish status - This option allows you to filter events that are either in “Active” or in “Draft” status, thereby letting you see which events need their status updated. You can update the event status by clicking the event, going to its Event Settings page, and updating the Product Status under the Event tab.

Sorting Options: Newest start date, Oldest start date, High number, Low number, Title A-Z, Title Z-A

  • Newest start date - sorts events based on their starting date, with the most recent ones appearing first, facilitating tracking of recent additions or events.

  • Oldest Start Date - arranges events in ascending order of their start dates, aiding historical exploration or chronological navigation.

  • Highest Number - sorts the list of events based on the event number, displaying those with the highest numbers first. Whenever you create an event, an event number is automatically generated based on the order of creation. Your first event will be #1, then the succeeding events you create will be #2, #3, and so on.

  • Lowest Number - sorts the list of events based on the event number, displaying those with the lowest event numbers first.

  • Title A-Z - arranges the events alphabetically by their titles in ascending order, helping find specific items quickly or organizing information systematically.

  • Title Z-A - does the opposite, listing items in descending alphabetical order by title, aiding in reverse lookup or emphasizing later entries.
