When setting up your events in Evey Events & Tickets, you can manage how customer profiles are created and assign tags for better organization and management. These settings can be found within each event's Event Settings.
Customers
Evey offers a convenient feature that allows you to create a customer in Shopify for each attendee, even if they are not the original purchaser of the ticket. This functionality becomes particularly useful when one person purchases multiple tickets or when tickets are transferred to others within a group. The app will generate customer profiles in Shopify only if they do not already exist, ensuring that no duplicate customer entries are created.
Creating Customers for Attendees
When a ticket is purchased, Evey can automatically create a corresponding customer profile in Shopify for each attendee.
This applies even when tickets are transferred or purchased by someone other than the attendee.
The app will not create duplicate customers; existing customer profiles will remain untouched.

Event Tags
Event tags offer a streamlined way to organize your events, especially if you manage a wide range of events. These tags enhance your event listing page's search and filtering capabilities within Evey. It's important to note that these tags are exclusively used for internal organization and do not affect your customers' experience.

Event Tags Settings
Tag Field: Select the appropriate tags from your existing tag list or add new ones. Just type the name of the new tag and select it from the list to add it.

Save these tags to the Shopify Product that is linked to this event: Each event created in Evey is linked to a corresponding Shopify product. By enabling this option, the selected tag will be applied to the associated Shopify product.

Save these tags to all future Shopify Orders that include this event: When customers purchase event tickets, the orders will be tagged with the chosen tag. This allows for efficient order management and organization.
