Ever wonder if you can let your customers reserve their seats in the cart for some time?
Well, if you think that would be an amazing feature in your business, then good news for you! We do offer that option. You can enable cart reservations! With this option, upon a customer adding a seat to their cart, the seat will be held for a designated duration, preventing others from adding it to their carts until the reservation lapses.
NOTE: This feature only works when you have assigned seating enabled. To learn more about assigned seating, please check this article.
To enable cart reservation, follow these steps:
1. From your Evey app dashboard, click "Settings."
2. Next, click "Storefront integrations."
3. On the "Storefront integrations" screen, click the "Seating" tab.
4. Scroll down to the "Customize" section and then check the box for "Enable cart reservation."
5. Once enabled, set your cart reservation expiration time and save your changes. The reservation will end once this timeframe elapses.
