What's included in the attendee export CSV?

A column-by-column guide to the attendee data you get when exporting from Evey.

When you export attendees from Evey, you get a CSV file with one row per ticket.

Exporting Attendees:

  1. Go to the "Attendees" page.

  2. Click the button highlighted in the screenshot below to export the CSV file.

  3. Enter the email address where you'd like to receive the CSV file.

  4. Click "Export attendees".

  5. Check your inbox for an email with your export file.


The export file contains the following information:

Attendee and Ticket Identity

Column

What it means?

ID

Evey's unique internal ID for the ticket record.

Number

The ticket's sequential number within the event.

Ticket_code

The ticket number formatted as it appears on the ticket (for example, #10).

Token

A unique security string tied to the ticket.

Barcode_value

The value encoded in the ticket's QR code. This is the ticket's check-in URL.

Seat_label

The attendee's assigned seat.
​Empty if your event doesn't use seating.


Attendee Details

Column

What it means?

First_name/Last_name

Ticket holder's name.

Email/Phone

Ticket holder's contact details.


Event and Order Details

Column

What it means?

Event_id

Evey's ID for the event the ticket belongs to.

Order_id/Order_name

Shopify's order ID and order number (for example, #1001).

Variant_id/Variant_title

Shopify's product variant for the ticket. The variant title is your ticket type name.

Purchased_at

When the ticket was purchased or created, shown in your store's timezone.

💡 Tip: If order_id and order_name are empty, the ticket wasn't bought through checkout, and it may have been added manually.


Delivery and Check-in

Column

What it means

Eticket_sent_at

When the e-ticket email was sent to the attendee (UTC).

Checkin_url

The link your staff will open or scan to check the attendee in.

Checkedin_at

When the attendee was checked in (UTC).

Checked_in_by

The staff account that checked the attendee in.

💡 Tip: If Checkedin_at and Checked_in_by are empty, the attendee wasn't checked in or failed to appear at the event.


Cancellation

Column

What it means?

Cancelled_at

When the ticket was cancelled (UTC). This is empty for active tickets.

Cancel_reason

The reason the ticket was cancelled.

💡 Tip: To see your ticket transfer history, filter the cancel_reason column for "Transferred". This lists every ticket that's been moved to a new holder.


Custom form fields

Your file may include extra columns that aren't listed here. These come from the custom questions you've added to your ticket or checkout form.

Any questions you've added to your ticket or checkout form appear as their own columns, using the question label as the column name.
