What Is a Ticket Type and How Do I Add Different Ticket Variants?

A ticket type is a variant of your event ticket. It works the same way as a Shopify product variant, allowing you to offer different options, such as General Admission, VIP, or Early Bird, each with its own price, inventory, and settings.


How to Add Ticket Variants in the Evey App

To add different ticket types to your event:

  1. Go to your event in the Evey app.

  2. Click the “Event settings” button at the upper-right corner of the event page.

  3. Navigate to the “Tickets” tab.

  4. In the “Ticket Types” section, click “Add ticket type.”

  5. Enter the name of the ticket type (e.g., “VIP”) and configure the price, inventory, and any other desired settings.

  6. Click “Save.”

Repeat these steps to add as many ticket variants as needed.


Additional Notes

  • Adding a ticket type in the Evey app will automatically create a matching product variant in your Shopify store.

  • You can also add ticket variants directly in your Shopify Admin’s product page, these will sync automatically and appear as ticket types in Evey.
