Instructions for in-person and online oral and poster presentations, including session formats, slide preparation, and tech requirements.

Updated over a month ago

Please read below the instructions for in-person and online presentations at the conference:

In-Person Oral Presentation

If your abstract has been accepted for an In-Person Oral Presentation, it will be featured in one of the program’s In-Person Oral Presentation Sessions. Your presentation should last 8 minutes, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session with the moderator, audience, or fellow presenters. Prepare your slides using PowerPoint, ensuring they are in a 16:9 format. No specific template is required, so you can choose a design that best suits your presentation. You must upload your presentation to the EIP Speaker Resource Center when prompted.

Online Oral Presentation

If your abstract has been accepted for an Online Oral Presentation, it will be included in one of the program’s Online Oral Presentation Sessions. For your Online Oral Presentation, ensure you have a computer with a camera, audio, microphone, and stable internet connection for optimal video quality. Prepare your presentation to display in presentation mode and be ready to share it with attendees. If you are presenting from a different continent, the presentation time will be scheduled in the morning or late afternoon, according to your time zone.

In-Person Poster Presentation

For an In-Person Poster Presentation, you will present for 4 minutes during a Poster Theater Session of the program, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session with the moderator, audience, or fellow presenters. Instead of PowerPoint, you will use your ePoster from the ePoster gallery. Create your ePoster using the ePoster platform, opening on 1 October 2025. We will send you login details for the platform where you can find instructions, access your ePosters, and use design templates. Please have your ePoster ready 15 days before the conference starts. All ePosters will be displayed in the conference’s ePoster Library.

Online Poster Presentation

The preparation for an Online Poster Presentation is similar to that for an In-Person Poster Presentation. You will present for 4 minutes during a Poster Theater Session, followed by a 2-minute Q&A session with the moderator, audience, or fellow presenters. For your online Poster Presentation, ensure you have a computer with a camera, audio, microphone, and stable internet connection for optimal video quality. Open your ePoster from the ePosters Gallery on your desktop and be ready to share it with attendees. If you are presenting from a different continent, the presentation time will be scheduled in the morning or late afternoon, according to your time zone.
