In order to receive the stipend we need to provide a payout method and a tax form, which are both provided on the payments section of the student portal.
Payout Method: this is where you want the funds to land once they are sent.
Bank account:
Provide an account number, a routing number, as well as other necessary identifying components of your bank
After the stipend has been sent, this method will typically take 3-5 days to land in your bank account
Please do NOT send the account information to anyone outside of the student portal
PayPal:
Provide your PayPal account information
After the stipend has sent, it will land in your PayPal account instantly
This method is HIGHLY recommended for all international students
**We will NOT send a physical check or any other payout method not mentioned above**
Tax Form: this is necessary to have a stipend sent and must be completed on the student portal
The two forms to choose from is a W9 and a W8-BEN.
