Overview
EZTime allows managers to update special day types in an employee's report — including vacation, sick leave, maternity leave, training courses, unpaid leave, and more.
This is especially useful in cases where an employee forgot to mark their attendance or report type in the system, or when an employee clocks in only via fingerprint and does not have access to the app.
Updates are made directly within the employee's attendance report and will affect vacation and sick leave balances according to the selected report type.
How to Update a Special Day
Step 1 — Access the Employee's Report
In the side menu, select "Manage Reports", then "Timesheet".
Step 2 — Search for the Employee
Search for the relevant employee and click "Search".
Step 3 — Select the Report Type
Click the calendar icon on the relevant day and select the report type from the list.
If the desired report type does not appear in the list, select "Special / Other". For a guide on how to add and manage special report types — click here.
Step 4 — Partial Day Report (By Hours)
If the report does not cover a full day, click "Set by Hours" and select the relevant time range.
The system will calculate the report based on hours rather than a full day.
Step 5 — Adding Notes and Documents
Comments and documents can be attached to any special report directly from the report entry screen.
Supported file formats: PDF, JPG, PNG only.
