My new content is incomplete on my Fabli, what should I do?

Updated today

A piece of content downloaded to your Fabli is considered incomplete when:

  • The collection title is missing

  • Some items from the album are missing

  • Some content titles from the album are missing

  • The collection is empty

If you encounter this issue, there are two possible solutions:

1. Delete the content from the Fabli

First, delete the content from your Fabli using the app. Activate connectivity mode, click on “Manage [Fabli’s name]”, and connect to your Fabli’s Wi-Fi network. To delete the incomplete content, click on the red delete icon.

Then, deactivate connectivity mode, close and reopen the Fabli, and activate connectivity mode again to re-download the content to your Fabli.

Make sure not to close the app or lock your phone during the download. Do not deactivate connectivity mode until the download is complete.

Test the content to confirm it worked. If it didn’t, proceed to the second option.

2. Delete the content from the Fabli and the app

First, delete the content from your Fabli using the app. Activate connectivity mode, click on “Manage [Fabli’s name]”, and connect to your Fabli’s Wi-Fi network. To delete the incomplete content, click on the red delete icon.

Then, deactivate connectivity mode and turn off the Fabli.

Now delete the Fabli app from your device and reinstall it. Log into your account and wait for your library to fully sync. Note: this step may take 20 to 30 minutes depending on your internet connection and the number of items in your library.

Once the sync is complete, activate connectivity mode on your Fabli and re-download the content.

Make sure not to close the app or lock your phone during the download. Do not deactivate connectivity mode until the download is complete.

Test the content to confirm the operation was successful. If it wasn’t, contact us via chat or at contact@fabli.co and let us know that both options have been completed without success.
