As a result of an EU ruling from 2019, all employees must register all their working hours starting from July 1, 2024.
How Does This Affect You as a Factofly User?
Initially, all Factofly users must register their working hours on par with other employees. Therefore, you are required to use our time registration system to log your working hours. Learn more about our time registration system here.
Note! As a freelancer, you might fall into one of the following categories, exempting you from time registration.
Exceptions to Mandatory Time Registration:
Workers who cannot predetermine their working hours due to the nature of their work.
If you are self-managing your working hours. This refers to workers who can set their own working hours and make independent decisions.
Who Should Register the Time? And How Often?
As an employee, it is your responsibility to register your working hours. The law does not specify how often this must be done, giving you the flexibility to choose a frequency that suits your work rhythm. You can register your time daily or according to another schedule that you find appropriate. The most important thing is that the time registration is reliable. To ensure this, we encourage you to register your working hours while the information is still fresh in your memory.
