Timeline for payments vary depending on the payment method. Below we'll go through the payment timeline.

Payment timeline
For both card payments and ACH direct debits, funds will generally reach your bank in just 1 business day after it's processed by your bank.
Transactions completed after 00:00 UTC (7PM EST / 8PM EDT) may not appear in the next day payout. Payments completed occur when funds are cleared from the parents bank and transferred to Stripe.
Parents will also receive an email confirming their completed payment.
βοΈ Keep in mind for ACH payments: While ACH payments appear quickly, they may fail within 9 days and then be reversed. If this happens, Famly will simply deduct from your next payout.
In-app payment payout report
The In-app payment payout report is where you can keep track of all payments made through Famly, including automatic payments and manual ones using linked payment methods.
At the top of the report, you'll see three key sections:
Started: Payments that have been initiated by parents but are not yet complete. This usually includes methods like Direct Debit, which can take several days to process.
Completed: Payments successfully completed and currently with our payment provider. These are scheduled for upcoming payouts. Any disputes or late failures affecting your account will be noted here until resolved.
In Payout: Payments that have been scheduled for transfer to your bank account. Adjustments reconciled in future payouts will also appear here. Below, you'll find a detailed list of pending, in transit, and completed payouts.
βοΈNote: Bulk payouts for payments made on the same day will appear as Famly on your bank statement.

π΅ 2. Log payments done outside of Famly
π Where: Finance menu - Payments
On the Payments page simply click Add payment
button in the top right corner.
Enter the correct details in the pop-up and finish by clicking
Add
The payment is now logged on the bill payer's account, which will lower the outstanding balance for that bill payer.
For bulk entries: You can import multiple payments at once using a CSV file.
