CDC Recommendations for Immunizations
Immunization Records in Famly follow the CDC recommendations
For you to ensure your compliance, we recommend that you check that the requirements added in Famly match the requirements you must follow. See the requirements below
Vaccine Overview
Below you can see a more detailed overview of the vaccines included in the Immunization Records feature (based on CDC recommendations), how many doses are needed and what age range each dose should be given within.
Vaccine doses change status in the Immunization Records overview based on the child’s age and the rules below.
For example, Hepatitis B dose 1 will be “upcoming” when the child is between 0-1 and as soon as the child is more than 1 month old it will change to “overdue” if the vaccine isn’t marked as “completed” in Famly.
This affects reminders as well. Reminders are sent out 31 days before a vaccine dose becomes “overdue” (30 days before max age is hit) as well as the last due date before it becomes overdue (so for Hepatitis B dose 1 that would be the day the child turns 1 month old).
Please note, this goes up to age 7 only
