Our aim is to bring as many prospective buyers to the site as possible so that they can find and buy the workshops they want. So we don't intend to advertise individually. However, depending on the communication channel, it may happen that one or the other artisan is highlighted.
Prominence in advertising
We have 3 main formats:
General ads: these formats are showcases whose aim is to maximise clicks on the Wecandoo site. They sometimes use specific visuals of certain workshops, but when a customer clicks, they are always taken to the general Wecandoo website and not to a specific workshop.
Workshop catalogues: these are automatically generated by Meta (Instagram/Facebook). They are ads that highlight a list of specific workshops based on customer interests or audience profiles.
Remarketing (retargeting) ads: these ads are also automatically personalised by Meta. They redirect customers to workshop pages they have already visited or to similar pages.
➡️ You have a role to play: all the people who have visited your workshop pages will be retargeted by personalised ads financed by Wecandoo. To take advantage of this, share the links to your pages with as many people as possible.
Promoting Wecandoo on social networks
As mentioned above, our aim is to help people discover the Wecandoo workshop concept. This also applies to our social networks, which are designed to bring as many customers as possible to the Wecandoo website.
To determine what will be published, we first define a communication calendar according to the virality and interaction potential of the themes and content. We then do our best to ensure the diversity of our offer and to make customers understand that Wecandoo is everywhere and represents over 100 different skills.
Certain artisans are sometimes highlighted through portraits, real pictures or other content. But the aim is never to highlight their specific workshop, but to make customers want to discover the Wecandoo concept and explore the site.
💡It's important to remember that what people like on social networks is usually not what they will actually buy on the site!
➡️ You have a role to play: when you post, you can be re-shared by the Wecandoo Instagram account!
For posts:
You will automatically appear in the feed of the Wecandoo account by identifying @wecandoo in the image of the post.
You will automatically appear in the #wecandoo feed by using this hashtag.
For stories:
We manually post a selection of stories on Saturdays and Sundays around lunchtime. We prefer:
Photos of you with the participants smiling and holding their creation, or the creation alone. With an extra message, it's the ultimate! The quality of the image is important: clear image, portrait format, clear understanding of the skill involved.
We don't share stories with your artisan discount code. This doesn't mean you shouldn't share them - we advise you to alternate between inspirational stories (which can be shared by Wecandoo) and more commercial stories with your artisan discount code (which won't be shared but are effective for your sales).
Getting press, influencers and events attention
In most cases, the organisation or person proposing the opportunity selects the artisans according to their own criteria and needs.
For very specific opportunities, we usually send out a call for applications by email and on the community Facebook group. If you would like to take part, all you need to do is express your interest by completing the questionnaire you receive.
➡️ You have a role to play: join the permanent list of community spokespeople! When a partner/influencer/journalist contacts us, we give priority to artisans on this list! If you're interested, please fill in this questionnaire.
Don't hesitate to contact us on the chatbox in your artisan back-office, or at artisans@wecandoo.com
