To make crafts part of everyday life, we encourage people to discover our workshops for various reasons: looking for a gift, an activity, a holiday visit, confirming a desire to change careers or any other ambition. Our aim is to help people discover the Wecandoo workshop concept, not to promote ourselves.

Our two main objectives are :

  • Awareness and traffic : spreading the word about Wecandoo and your workshops to attract as many potential customers as possible to the website.

  • Conversion : getting visitors to the site to become customers and buy your workshops.

Awareness and traffic

  • Social networks

Social networks are the preferred place for many customers to discover new concepts, products and services. These networks also allow you to stay in touch with your customers, make Wecandoo part of their daily lives and encourage them to book your workshops.

We have a strong presence on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. The content of our social networks is designed to share our expertise with attractive, inspiring and sometimes funny visuals that encourage as many people as possible to discover the Wecandoo concept and our workshops.

  • Press, partnerships, influence

To raise awareness of Wecandoo and the workshops run by the community's artisans, we also work with other players to reach a wider audience and a different network from our own. In particular, we work with the press, numerous influencers and partners such as Emmaüs, the CMAs and the Red Cross.

  • Events

We also regularly organise events for the public and the press. Here again, the aim is to raise the profile of the craft community as widely as possible. We go directly to customers (or journalists) to encourage them to sign up to the Wecandoo concept, to talk about artisans around them, and therefore to book workshops.

  • Advertising

Advertising is key to our strategy. We work with a wide range of advertising formats: from very broad advertisements to publicise the Wecandoo concept, to much more targeted and transactional advertisements to make customers want to buy. These ads are displayed on social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and Pinterest), but also in inserts on websites and in Google results, for example. They help to attract customers to the Wecandoo website and sometimes, thanks to ads automatically personalised by our tools, to your specific workshops.

  • Newsletters

Finally, for those customers who have already given us their email addresses, we send out regular newsletters. There are different kinds depending on the occasion: highlighting new workshops in their region, themed newsletters (Christmas presents, Mother's Day or holiday activities), etc. Email is a great tool for creating a bond with Wecandoo, getting customers to come back to the site and making them want to buy your workshops. There are many other tools (SEO, blogging, etc.) but these are the main ones we use.

Conversion

Once potential customers have arrived on the site, it's time to convert them into buyers! To do this, we put a lot of strategies in place. Here are three key elements:

  1. The algorithm

On the site, we have an algorithm that follows precise rules to help customers find what they're looking for (and to help you find the right buyers!). The algorithm is based on various criteria, which you can find here.

2. Filters

Visitors to the site systematically use filters to refine the selection of offers (top 3 most frequently used filters: location, expertise, price). These filters allow us to select a maximum of a few dozen workshops. In this way, your workshops are not drowned in the mass and customers find it much easier to find what they are looking for.

3. The collections

To help visitors navigate the website and find the workshops that are right for them, we have created collections that can be viewed from the menu bar. Often seasonal, they present a selection of workshops defined by criteria (price, expertise, other). If your workshop meets these criteria, it will automatically be included in this collection.
