A Cross-Sell bundle allows you to create multiple fixed bundle options or sets that are offered directly on the main product page. In other words, customers can view the primary product along with several pre-selected bundle choices, encouraging them to add other items and increase their order value.
How to create this bundle type?
1. Select the Cross-sell bundle
To create a Cross-Sell bundle, go to the Fast Bundle app, click Create New Bundle, and select Cross-sell from the list of bundle types.
2. Add your main product to the bundle
Select the main product you want to use for the Cross-sell bundle:
⚠️ Important notes:
Only one Cross-Sell bundle can be created per product.
For example, you cannot create two different Cross-sell bundles using Product A as the main product.A product may have Volume, Add-on / Buy X Get Y, and Cross-sell bundles set up at the same time. However, when a Cross-sell bundle is created for Product A, any Add-on / Buy X Get Y, or Volume bundles created for Product A will no longer appear; instead, the Cross-sell bundle will be shown. A warning message will be displayed during bundle creation to inform you of this behavior.
3. Define options
In this step, you can configure the bundle options displayed to customers.
The first option always represents the main product alone.
You can set a title, upload a picture, and optionally mark it as the default selected option.
For the additional options, you can:
Add other items
Set quantities
Choose the discount type and value
Add a title
Exclude the main product from the discount, if needed
⚠️ Important note:
You can add up to 5 options in the Cross-sell bundle:
4. Assigning an internal name for the bundle.
In the Cross-sell bundle, you can insert a name for the bundle for internal use, and this name appears in the Fast Bundle dashboard
5. Configure the Advanced Settings:
I. Variants:
By default, Cross-sell bundles use a single variant selector, meaning the selected variant will apply to all quantities of an item in the bundle.
If you prefer, you can enable Let customers choose different variants for each item to allow independent variant selection per item.
And your widget will look like the image below:
You can also configure color or image swatches for the variants included in your bundle:
II. Unit Price:
This setting controls how prices are displayed for items with a quantity greater than one.
When enabled, the price per single unit will be displayed next to the item.
Example: $14.00 per item (for 2 items, total is $28.00)
When disabled: The total price for the given quantity is displayed instead.
Example: $28.00 (for 2 items at $14.00 each)
III. Discount label:
From the Discount label, you can write your preferred label in the box, and that will be displayed with the discounted products in the cart page, cart drawer (mini cart), and in the checkout.
IV. Set active dates
You can specify start and end dates for your bundle.
⚠️ Important note:
The bundle will not appear on your storefront until the start date is reached, even if the bundle status is “Active.”
Neither customers nor you will be able to see it on the storefront before the start date.
6. Save!
Save your changes, and you are done!
7. View Your Bundle
You can view your bundle using the 'View on Store' button at the top of the page.
How does the Cross-sell bundle appear in the Analytics tab?
In the Analytics tab, each option within a Cross-sell bundle is displayed as a separate line item, except for Option 1, which is treated as the main product and does not appear in the list.
This allows you to easily track the performance of each bundle option, as shown in the example below:
