Can I change the SKU of my bundle as a product?

Yes, but it depends on how you set up the bundle. There are three ways to create a Bundle As a Product (BAP), and only one of these methods allows you to change the SKU. This method is known as Single-BAP.

If you want to customize the SKU of a Single BAP bundle or ensure that the SKU doesn't change, make sure you’ve finalized all your bundle settings first.
Any changes made to the bundle settings in the Fast Bundle app will either generate a new SKU or revert any custom SKU you’ve previously assigned.

What can cause the SKU of a Single-BAP to change?

Certain actions can cause the SKU of a Single-BAP to reset. In these cases, Fast Bundle recognizes this bundle as a product as a new one and generates a new SKU for it. Here are some examples of these actions:

1. Removing or adding items to the bundle.

2. Deleting or adding new variant options in the Bundle

3. Removing and recreating item variants.

4. Changing the quantity of the items.

5. Changing the type of the bundle as a product.

6. Disabling the product creation setting, saving, and then enabling it again.
