The Run Report feature allows users to generate reports using templates created by Admin or Institution Admin. You can access this feature by going to Reports > Report List, then selecting the type of report you want to generate.
How It Works
Report templates created from the Template Builder already include filters, column setups, and structure decided by admins. When you access the Run Report page, these settings are automatically applied to help ensure consistency across your reports.
You can access Run Report page as well from Tickets, Cases, Clients, Sales, and Business Center > Payment List page.
Using Filters on the Run Report Page
Any filters added by Admin in the Template Builder will automatically appear on the Run Report page and cannot be changed by non-admin users.
You can temporarily apply extra filters on the Run Report page.
These temporary filters will apply only to the current session. Once you leave the page or rerun the report, the filter resets.
To make permanent changes to the filter setup, you'll need an Admin to edit the template from the Template Builder.
Preview Before Running
Before running the report, it’s best to preview the data:
On the Run Report page, a data preview table will be shown.
Blue header columns indicate actual data from your system.
Gray header columns show sample/mock data (only in certain report types like Tickets or Sales > Collections).
Use the preview to confirm that the data looks right based on your filters and column setup.
Run & Download Report
Once you’re satisfied with the preview, click [Run Report].
The report will start generating and appear in the Process Log.
When it’s ready, you’ll see a [Download] button to export the report as a file to your device.
Admin Access to Edit Templates
If you're an Admin or Institution Admin and want to update the report template:
From the Run Report page, click the [Edit Template] button next to the report name.
You’ll be redirected to the Template Builder Details Page, where you can adjust columns, filters, and template names.
If you’re not an Admin, ask your Admin to make those updates for you.
