FAQs

Which roles do I need for a typical private event or wedding?
Most private events use a mix of Wait Staff, Bartenders and at least one Head Server or Supervisor for leadership. For more formal dinners, you might upgrade some or all servers to Fine Dining Professionals. For VIP tables, a Bottle Service Attendant can be added.

Tip: See our quick guide on Staffing Ratios for Hospitality or the more in-depth Understanding Serving Styles article to get a better feel of how many staff members you may need.

When should I book a Supervisor instead of only a Head Server?
A Head Server is usually enough for small to mid sized events with a simple service plan. A Supervisor is recommended for large guest counts, complex timelines, multiple vendors or when you want a single on site point of contact managing all staff and service.

What is the difference between a Brand Ambassador, a Promotional Model and a Hostess?
Brand Ambassadors focus on conversation, education and lead generation for your brand or campaign. Promotional Models focus on visual presence and guest interaction for premium or media heavy activations. Hostesses combine social presence with light hospitality food & beverage service and guest flow at private parties, lounges and VIP areas.

How do I decide between Wait Staff, Fine Dining Professionals and Butlers?
If you need reliable service for a standard event, Wait Staff are usually sufficient. For formal plated dinners or service that must follow specific standards, Fine Dining Professionals are better. For one to one or household level service at the highest level, choose a Butler.

Can I mix different staff types in one event?
Yes. Many events combine several roles, such as bartenders, Wait Staff, a Supervisor and one or two specialized roles like Brand Ambassadors or Bottle Service Attendants. Your Event Concierge will help you decide where upgrades such as Fine Dining Professionals or Butlers add the most value.

Can I hand pick individual staff?
Yes, for many premium roles. Where available, we provide curated bios and photos so you can select specific staff. In some cases, we also arrange short interviews so you can meet key staff before confirming your booking.
