What is the difference between "Experience Maker" and "Host"?
What is the difference between "Experience Maker" and "Host"?
Updated over 8 months ago

Here's how we differentiate the roles:

  • Experience Makers: These are the creative minds behind the scenes, the individuals who design and curate the experiences you enjoy. They possess deep knowledge, cultural insight, and a passion for sharing their local area in unique and memorable ways.

  • Hosts: A host is the person who will be with you during your Experience, guiding you as you explore. In many cases, the Experience Maker—the one who designed the experience—will also be your host, personally leading the activity. In some cases, an Experience Maker may assign a passionate and knowledgeable colleague/associate from their team to be your host.

Whether your experience is led by the Experience Maker themselves or a Host, you can expect a deep, authentic connection to the local culture and an unforgettable experience.
