When setting up your Offer, you have several options to determine how your shoppers can select their seats during the purchase process. Here's a breakdown of each available seat selection method:
Seat Picker
The Seat Picker option allows shoppers to drill down and choose the exact seat number they prefer. This gives them the most control and visibility into the seating layout, ensuring they can select seats that perfectly match their preferences.
Use case: Ideal for campaigns where customers prioritize specific seat locations.
Best Available - Section or Best Available - Area
With Best Available options, tickets are initially displayed to shoppers as the best available seats based on the Section or Area. However, shoppers still have the flexibility to switch to the Seat Picker by using a filter. This strikes a balance between convenience and control, offering customers a quick option while allowing them to refine their choice if needed.
Use case: Great for shoppers who want an easy selection process but still want the option to manually choose seats.
Force Best Available - Section or Force Best Available - Area
When you select Force Best Available - Section, shoppers can pick the specific section they want, but the system automatically assigns the best available seats in that section. This method speeds up the purchase process while still allowing customers to choose their preferred seating area. This option prevents shoppers from switching to Seat Picker.
Use case: Useful for Offers with popular sections or where customers might want to narrow down their options by section but don’t need to choose specific seats.
