Summary
When you create a new Work Order from the customer's location page, in the Schedule tab, there is a 'rainbow' of tech choices above the Technician button that will give you list of techs with the date & time and the tech that will be closest to the service location.
Key Points
The system looks to see which techs are going to be closest
Green is closest in date & time, blue is farthest away
The rainbow does not appear in certain circumstances
The system looks to see which techs are going to be closest to this location on any given day. The techs on the left are closest to this location and are considered as the 'best fit'. The techs on the right are farthest away and are considered to be not such a good fit.
If the customer does not care which day you schedule the appointment (commercial or residential outside work), select the left-most tech for the best routing efficiency.
The rainbow does not appear when:
You click and drag to create a Work Order in the Calendar
Create the Work Order from Sales > Work Orders
You edit an already saved Work Order
