From time to time you'll need to replace a QR code/bar code on a device because of wear and tear, smudges, theft... While it's easy to apply the new sticker and start fresh, you'll want to preserve the history of the device so the Trend Reports stay consistent.

Tap the code that's being replaced
Tap Rescan
Scan the new code
Tap Save
Continue as normal
To maintain the history of the device:
Open the Work Order in the mobile app
Tap Devices
Tap View All
4. Tap the old QR code (in this example, note the QR number: 4620)
5. Tap ReScan
6. Scan the new QR code
7. Tap Yes
8. Notice the new code under Save
9. Tap Save to add device details
The history of the device is preserved. The only thing that's changed is the number associated to the device.
