Group your devices by area, such as Interior, Exterior, or by frequency, such as Scan 1st week, Scan 2nd and 4th weeks, etc.
Key Points
Create your Device Areas
Select the area/frequency for each device in a customer's account
The devices will be grouped accordingly in the mobile app Work Order
Create your Device Areas
From the Dashboard click the Settings gear icon.
Under Device & Trap Settings, click Device Area.
In the upper-right corner, click New Device Area.
Enter a location or frequency and click the Create Device Area button.
Repeat as necessary.
Select the area/frequency for each device
Go into a customer's account that has devices.
Click the Devices tab
Click the Edit button to the right of a device
At the bottom of the fields click the button to the right of Device Area
Select the area/frequency for this device
5. Click the Save button
6. Repeat for all the other devices
The devices will be grouped accordingly in the mobile app
Open a Work Order
Tap Devices
Tap View all
Your devices will be listed according to the area or frequency you created
Tap either one to see the devices and to begin scanning
