Summary

Create a recurring appointment that automatically schedules every week.

Key Points

  • Click the Create a new... button and select Work Order

  • On the Schedule tab, select the frequency Weekly

  • Select Every x-number of Week(s)

  • Select the day of the week you'll do the service

  • The On day (of the week) must match First Service Date

  • Ends After is Never, Fixed number or Date

  • Enter the Duration and Start Time

From the customer's location page, click the Create a new... button and select Work Order

On the Billing tab add the service description, adjust the price, if necessary, etc.

On the Schedule tab, select the tech.

Select the frequency Weekly.
If you service this account every week, keep Every 1 Week(s).
If you service this account every other week, change it to Every 2 Week(s), etc.

Select the day of the week you'll do the service, in this example it's Thursday.

The On day (of the week) must match First Service Date. Otherwise, you'll have two appointments the first week. In this example, June 4, 2020, is a Thursday.

Enter the Duration and Start Time

Click the Save button and you have a series created in that customer's Work Orders tab. This example shows a monthly series on Thursday of every week.

The system generates a year's worth of appointments. As the newest appointments are completed the system appends the end of the list with additional appointments so you never have to remember to create more services.
