Where do Service Instructions and Location Note come from?

Summary

When the tech opens the Work Order in the mobile app, the Service Instructions and Location Note appear in the opening page.

Key Points

Service Instructions comes from the Work Order, Notes tab.

  1. Add service instructions when you Create a new work order.

  2. Add service instructions when you edit an existing work order "View or Edit"

  3. Add service instruction when you edit an entire work order series "Edit Series"

Location Note comes from the customer's Location Page Sticky note.

To enter the sticky notes: 

  1. Click the Customer Account and VIEW the service location

  2. In the Service Location page,
    The sticky note is under the location name
    Double-click the box under Sticky note to add a note
    Click Save

Use Service Instructions to pass along specific information about the job.
Use Location Note to pass along specific information about the location.
