How to Set up hotkeys for OBS and Streamlabs?
🔀Set up in Streamlabs
Follow the tutorial and click the link to create a registered app. Fill in the required information with your actual details as instructed. Click continue. Enter any software name and a valid URL that belongs to you. Finally, select your Twitch account to log in and enter your username.
Return to the D6 interface. Copy the two URLs provided in the tutorial. Paste them into the Streamlabs plugin. Click finish, then authorize. Copy the client ID and client secret you received. Paste them into the corresponding boxes in the plugin. Click Save and authorize.
🔁Set up in OBS
Open the OBS plugin in the D6 interface.
Click the drop-down list, then drag any OBS action icon to an empty button.
Open OBS on your computer.
Go to Tools → WebSocket Server Settings.
Click Show Connect Info.
Copy the Server Password.
Paste the password into the corresponding field in the D6 OBS plugin.
Click Connect.
✅ Once connected, OBS is successfully linked to your D6 Control Deck.
How to Set up Hotkeys for Spotify and Discord?
Preparation
Start by opening the D6 plug-in store.
Search for the Spotify and Discord plugins, then download and install both.
Once installed, you'll see them on the right side of the home screen.
Click the drop-down menu, then drag each icon to an empty button.
Spotify Setup Guide
Click the link in the prompt and copy the URL from the page.
Return to the plugin. Select the action link and choose Create app.
Enter the required info and paste the copied URL into the fourth field. Enable “Web API” and “User Agreement”, then save.
You'll get a client ID and client secret. Paste them into the plugins connection window. Click authorize.
Agree to the permissions, and you're done.
Discord Setup Guide
Drag the Discord icon to a blank button.
Open the tutorial link in the plug-in and copy the URL. Click the plugins action link and complete registration.
Select “OAUTH 2” on the left and paste the URL into the field. Save to get your client ID.
After clicking reset secret, select “Yes, I do”. Then enter the Discord account password and submit.
If the secret has not appeared yet, you can click reset secret again to refresh.
Wait until the secret appears and copy and paste it into the corresponding prompt box of the plug-in. Then click “Authorize”.
After the authorization is successful, click the plug-in function icon, and you can use it.
How to Set up the "Operation Flow" key in D6?
1️⃣One-click open frequently used websites, apps, and files
Drag the operation flow icon onto the button of the blank panel.
Click to open the project. Drag the website icon and enter the URL.
Drag the open icon, then select the file and choose the file you want to open.
You can also drag in the open an app icon. Then select the application you want to open.
On the operation panel, achieve one-click opening of all settings
2️⃣One-click open the Preset Text sequentially
Select the operation flow and then add the steps.
Select the text function key, then input the “Copy” text. Remember to tick the first option at the bottom. Input the subsequent steps in sequence.
After completion, open the chat box. You can check it out by pressing the flow controller button.
If you find the sending speed too slow, you can return and adjust the response time to achieve quick one-click sending.
3️⃣One-click open Twitch, Game & OSB to Stream
1. Prepare Live Streaming Platform and OBS
Firstly, open the live streaming software website. Log in. Create a live streaming web page and press “Ctrl + C” to copy the key.
Open the third-party streaming tool OBS. Go to “Settings” – “Live Streaming”. Select the live streaming software. Then press “Ctrl + V” to paste the streaming code and connect it to the live streaming software.
2. Set Up Game Capture in OBS
Open the game and click the “+” below OBS. Then select window capture. Select the game window. At this point, OBS will display the game window screen.
3. Create an Operation Flow Key on D6
Open the operation panel. Drag the operation stream into the blank button and click to open. Then input the operation steps.
Set the URL of the website you want to stream on. Remember to copy and paste the URL.
Set the game software you need to open.
Set the streaming software OBS to open.
Set the shortcut key for starting the live stream automatically in OBS.
Select the streaming open OBS, then click “Tool” – “Websocket Server Settings”. Copy and paste the server IP and password to connect to OBS.
Setting the reaction time of OBS to 5 seconds would be a safer option.
