Set up in the system
Click the speaker icon in the right corner and choose “Open Sound settings”. Make sure to select the USB PnP Audio Device as the input device. Also, choose the right output device.
Adjust the input volume
“Sound Control Panel” - “Recording” - “Properties” - “Level”. We recommend adjusting the volume from +14.0 to +20.0dB under the decibel range. Please check the box "Listen to this device" if you want to monitor your mic.
Set up in software
Open the recording software like Audacity, and make sure to select the USB PnP Audio Device as the input device. If you want to monitor your mic through Audacity, choose “Transport”, open “Transport Options”, and click “Software Playthrough (on/off)”. Also, go back to the “Sound Settings” and click off the “Listen to this device”.
