Set up with an iPhone (0:20-0:39)
For older iPhones that have a 3.5mm headphone jack, connect the mic to the phone directly. For iPhone 7 and newer, a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter is needed.
Set up with an Android (0:42-1:02)
For Android phones that have a 3.5mm headphone jack, connect the mic to the phone directly. For the Android phones that have only a Type-C jack, a Type-C to 3.5mm adapter is needed.
If the phone's built-in video recorder app does not detect the mic, please install the app Open Camera on your phone. Then you can use the mic with this app for recording.
Use with a computer (1:06- 1:17)
Plug the mic into the combo input directly. If your computer has the 3.5mm dedicated mic input, connect the mic to the computer via the included 4-to-3-pin adapter.
Use with a camera (1:18-1:32)
You need a 3.5mm TRS to TRRS adapter cable to connect it to a camera. Want to use the headset mic and lapel mic simultaneously? You can use a Y Splitter Cable and use it together. You can also use an extended cable if your camera is far away from you.
