Subscription Plans & Billing
1.1. Plan Types
Filmtailor from launch offers solo (individual) subscription plans, with the following options:
Monthly Plan – Billed monthly, cancel anytime.
Annual Plan – Monthly Billing: 12-month commitment with lower monthly rates.
Annual Plan – Prepaid: Pay once annually for the best discount.
1.2. Billing Cycle
Billing for all subscription plans only begins after the end of any applicable free trial period. Once the trial ends, your selected plan’s billing cycle starts automatically, monthly or annually, depending on the plan.
1.3. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
Invoice for enterprise clients.
N.B.: Your payment method will not be charged during the free trial. It will only be collected and charged automatically at the end of the trial period if the subscription is not cancelled.
1.4. Taxes
All charges may be subject to applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST based on your location. Taxes are calculated and added during checkout.
2. Free Trials
2.1. Eligibility & Duration
Some subscription plans offer a free trial (e.g., 7 or 14 days). Trials begin immediately upon activation.
2.2. Automatic Billing After Trial
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan will automatically begin, and your payment method will be collected and charged at that time. No charge will be made prior to the end of the trial.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
3.1. How to Cancel
You may cancel at any time through your Filmtailor.ai account under Billing Settings or by contacting Support.
3.2. Refund Eligibility
Monthly Plans: Refunds are not available after payment is processed. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Annual Plans (Monthly Billing): Cancel within 14 days for a full refund. After that, a 50% early termination fee applies to the remaining contract value.
Annual Plans (Prepaid): Cancel within 14 days for a full refund. No refunds after that period.
4. Failed Payments & Account Access
4.1. Failed Charges
We will retry failed payments several times. If payment remains unsuccessful, your subscription may be suspended.
4.2. Updating Billing Info
Update your payment method anytime via your account dashboard to avoid service disruption.
5. Service Suspension & Reactivation
If your account is suspended due to non-payment, you may temporarily lose access to saved projects or workflows. Full access is restored upon successful payment.
N.B.: Users may need to contact Support to re-attempt the payment in these cases. Support is available via live chat.
6. Policy Updates
FilmtailorAI may revise this policy from time to time. Users will be notified of any significant changes via email or in-platform messages in advance.
