App isn't updating new content / missing content

If you're not getting any new content on your app feed, there are a few things you can try:

  • Logging out, and back in again

  • Checking if you have the most recent version of the app installed in App Store or Google Play, and updating it if not, then log back in

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the app, then log back in

None of those working?

If you can see most of the new content but feel like you're missing a Daily Brief, it's probably because of the day of the week, or a Finimize team holiday. There are no Daily Briefs on Saturdays or Sundays (the market's closed), but a Weekly Brief goes out on Sunday, and you should see a Daily brief on 5 days of the week nearly every week.

Missing other content / no new content at all for days?

That's a bug πŸͺ² If you already tried all the steps for the app above and nothing worked, you can submit a bug report in the app by heading to your profile page and clicking "πŸ“‹ Help us improve the app"


The app is being slow / not loading content properly

If the app is being sluggish, try the old 'turn it off and back on again' with 3 steps below:

  • Log out, and back in again

  • Check if you have the most recent version of the app installed in App Store or Google Play, and update it if not, then log back in

  • Uninstall and reinstall the app, then log back in

Still experiencing problems?

It could be an issue with your phone. Are you in a place with decent internet connection? Do all other apps and sites work normally on your phone? Are you running a lot of applications at once, or trying to download or stream something else at the same time?

If your phone is working as usual otherwise, you have no known issues, and you've tried all the steps above, it's probably a bug πŸͺ² You can submit a bug report in the app by heading to your profile page and clicking "πŸ“‹ Help us improve the app"
