Finimize Referral Program Terms & Conditions
The Finimize Referral Program allows Finimize users to earn payments by referring friends or family members to Finimize. By participating in the Referral Program, you agree to abide by these Referral Program Terms & Conditions and Finimize’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Defined Terms
Referrer: you, a registered Finimize user.
Referred Customer: a friend or family member to whom the Referrer shares their link. A “friend” is a person with whom you communicate frequently and have met in person before. A “family member” is a person who is your parent, sibling, or child, or a person with whom you are related through marriage or common-law partnership.
Referred Customer Discount: a promotional discount off your first year (subsequent years are full price) on an annual subscription to Finimize.
Referral Link: a personalized referral link, provided to you by Finimize.
Referral Payment: a reward payment that Referrers may be eligible to receive for each Referred Customer who completes a valid purchase for a Finimize subscription via their referral link.

For the Referrer
How to Earn a Referral Payment: The Referrer may earn a referral payment if a Referred Customer clicks on the Referrer’s Referral Link and purchases a Finimize subscription within the same session.
Referral Payments are made via PayPal or Venmo, typically within approximately 48 hours of the Referred Customer’s payment being processed.
Finimize reserves the right to withhold or claw back Referral Payments if the Referred Customer cancels, requests a refund within the statutory 14-day cooling-off period, or if the purchase is deemed suspicious or fraudulent.
For the Referred Customer
To receive the Referred Customer Discount, the Referred Customer must click on the Referrer’s Referral Link and complete a purchase for a Finimize subscription during the same session. The discount will be automatically applied to the order.
Discount Exclusions
Each Discount is non-transferable, not valid for cash or cash equivalent, cannot be combined with other offers, and must be used in the currency in which it was received.
Each of the Referrer and the Referred Customer is responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from any Discount.
Each Discount may be redeemed on Finimize.com only and may not be applied to any prior purchases or taxes.
Follow the Rules
Finimize reserves the right to review, investigate, and disqualify any Discount or Referral Payment that violates the spirit of the Referral Program. This includes, but is not limited to:
Self-referrals (e.g., using different, disposable, or fake email addresses).
Distributing Referral Links via commercial advertising or spam.
Abusive or fraudulent practices, including attempting to trigger a referral payment on a transaction that is later refunded or identified as fraudulent.
Referrers should only invite a friend or family member after receiving prior permission. Referrers must comply with all applicable “SPAM” laws and marketing regulations. Bulk distribution of Referral Links is prohibited.
Fraud, Suspicious Activity & Refunds
Automatic Disqualification: Finimize automatically disqualifies referrals that appear suspicious, fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these Terms.
Refunds & Cooling-Off Period: If a Referred Customer cancels or requests a refund within the statutory 14-day cooling-off period (or any other applicable refund period), any related Referral Payment will be considered invalid and may be withheld or clawed back at Finimize’s discretion.
Fraudulent Payments: If any payment or referral is determined to be fraudulent or abusive, Finimize reserves the right to void associated Referral Payments and Discounts, and to close related accounts.
Privacy
By clicking on a Referral Link, the Referred Customer acknowledges that some personal information may be shared with the Referrer for confirmation purposes. Finimize strongly advises that Referral Links only be used when received from someone known and trusted. Personal information collected will be used in accordance with Finimize’s Privacy Policy.
Right to Close Accounts
Finimize reserves the right to close the account(s) of any Referrer and/or Referred Customer and to refuse refunds for purchased subscriptions if the Referral Program is used in a questionable manner, if these Terms & Conditions are breached, or if any applicable law or regulation is violated. All decisions are final and binding.
Right to Cancel Program or Change Terms
Finimize reserves the right to cancel or amend the Referral Program or these Terms & Conditions at any time, in its sole discretion. Any earned Discounts or Referral Payments not yet disbursed remain subject to verification under these Terms.
