You can easily delete what you donât need from the plot outline, chapter outline, or the scene tab in your manuscript. Just be certain, as deletions are permanent!
Deleting from the chapter outline
Navigate to the chapter outline: Start by going to the chapter outline.
You can just look over the card: Find the three dots on the chapter or scene card you'd like to remove.
Click âDeleteâ: And itâs out!
Deleting from the plot outline
Navigate to the plot outline: Start by going to the plot outline.
Hover over the card: Find the three dots on the chapter or scene card you wish to remove.
Click âDeleteâ: A simple click and it's gone forever!
Deleting from the scene tab
Go to the scene tab: In the manuscript view, navigate to your scene tab.
Find the trash can icon: Under each scene summary, youâll see a little trash icon. Clicking this will delete the entire scene.
Take a moment to be sure before you delete. Once a scene or chapter is removed, itâs gone for good. If youâre sure, then go ahead and keep your project neat and focused!
