Today, you're in the thick of battle 1 [18,337–20,000 words]:
Battle 1 – Your protagonist and friends must continue the dance of the call and response.
Test your protagonist and their allies. Put them through the wringer. Maybe some of them don't cut it.
Want a different sort of prompt? Include a reference to every one of your protagonist's senses in your next scene (ie: they see something, hear something, taste something, smell something, feel something). 👁️👂👅👃🫴
Update your running editorial note
At the end of the day make a note of any off-course deviations, potential inconsistencies, areas to research further, or moments of inspiration to revisit when you edit in December/January.
