πŸ’― Nanowrimo Day 30: Resolution

What to write for NaNoWriMo today, based on the classic 3-act story structure.

Updated over a week ago

You've nearly done it! This week, your characters are at rock bottom and you have to put them back together again.

What to write today

Today, you're wrapping up [48,343–50,000 words]. You'll end today with your characters feeling either content and victorious, or the bittersweet emotion of having achieved something at a cost (and it might not be what they set out to achieve):

  • Final image – Show the protagonist back in their usual life, and show what life looks like for them now.

Want a different sort of prompt? Have one of your characters start a conversation with: "I've never told this to anyone..." πŸ₯Ή

Finish strong

As always, end the day by updating your running editorial note: note any off-course deviations, potential inconsistencies, areas to research further, or moments of inspiration to revisit when you edit in December/January.
