You can preview your countdown timer directly in the Shopify Theme Editor before making it live. This helps you check the design, placement, and timing.
👉 All timer settings in Flash Countdown Timer are managed in the Shopify Theme Editor.
Preview your countdown timer
Steps:
Go to Online Store → Themes in your Shopify admin
Click Edit Theme
Navigate to the page where your timer is added (e.g. product page, homepage)
Select your Flash Countdown Timer block
👉 You’ll see your timer update instantly in the preview.
What to check before publishing
Make sure everything looks and works as expected:
The timer is visible in the correct location
The design and colors match your store
The text is clear and not cut off
The countdown time is correct
Test your timer
For best results:
Adjust the timer to a short duration (e.g. a few minutes) to test behavior
Refresh the preview to confirm it updates correctly
Check both desktop and mobile views
Important
Changes in the Theme Editor are not live until you click Save.
👉 Always click Save when you're ready to publish your timer.
