How do I change the design/style of the countdown timer?

You can change the look of your timer using built-in styles in the Shopify Theme Editor. Flash Countdown Timer includes multiple design options so you can match your store’s branding.


Change the timer style in Flash Countdown Timer

Steps:

  1. Go to Online Store → Themes in your Shopify admin

  2. Click Customize on your active theme

  3. Select your Flash Countdown Timer block

  4. Find the Style setting

  5. Choose a style from the available options

  6. Click Save

👉 Your selected style will update instantly in the preview.


Available styles

Flash Countdown Timer includes a variety of styles, such as:

  • Dawn – Clean and minimal

  • Minimal - Minimal but modern

  • Cards – Boxed layout with separated time units

  • Compact – Smaller, space-saving design

  • Colorful Gradient – Colorful background with gradient effect

  • Flip Clock – Animated, digital-style timer

  • Elegant – Sleek and modern look

  • Warm Vintage – Classic styled design

👉 Each style gives your timer a different layout and visual feel.


Customize further

After choosing a style, you can continue customizing:

  • Colors and fonts

  • Alignment

  • Background (color or image)

  • Text (heading, labels, expired message)

Tips for best results

  • Choose a style that fits your store’s overall design

  • Use simpler styles for product pages and bolder styles for promotions

  • Make sure your timer stays easy to read


Preview before publishing

Before going live:

  • Check how the style looks on desktop and mobile

  • Make sure spacing and readability are good

  • Confirm it fits naturally with the rest of your page
