Driver ID is a suite of useful features that allow you to receive unauthorised driver notifications and extend reporting with driver options. You can quickly and easily identify who is operating which vehicle.
Drivers can sign in and out of vehicles using the Fleetpin mobile app or by using an RFID tag and optional in-vehicle RFID reader kits.
As drivers sign in and out of vehicles, you can run reports such as the Driver Activity Report (exclusive to this add-on) and make use of the driver filter in other reports.
Drivers can use the Fleetpin V2 mobile companion app to review daily summaries of their own activity across the vehicles they have been operating. This can assist drivers with accurately recording time and mileage.
With the Unauthorised Driver Alert, you can be notified as soon as a vehicle is operated without a driver being signed in, or by a driver who isn’t authorised to use that vehicle.
How it works
Drivers can sign in/out using the Fleetpin V2 mobile or web apps. With our optional RFID kit, drivers can use a special button to sign in and out of the vehicle.
All asset activity is also linked to the currently signed-in driver. This allows detailed reporting by drivers across assets and locations. All incidents (speeding, harsh driving) are also linked to the driver, providing you the information needed to take corrective action.
