Vehicle Cost Per Mile Report – Step-by-Step Outline

  1. Accessing the Report

    • Navigate from Work Orders to the Reporting Dashboards within the reporting suite.

    • Multiple dashboards are already available, and users can create unlimited custom dashboards.

  2. Using the Dashboards

    • Select the dashboard labeled "Equipment" (or any other).

    • Customize panels:

      • Create unlimited panels.

      • Resize, drag and drop.

      • Add single metrics, visualizations, or table panels.

    • Share dashboards:

      • Send to individuals or multiple people.

      • Schedule recurring reports via email.

  3. Opening the Vehicle Cost Per Mile Report

    • Choose the report labeled "Transportation Vehicle Per Mile Cost".

    • Select a date range (e.g., last month).

  4. Filtering the Data

    • Apply filters for:

      • Campus

      • Equipment

      • Work order categories

      • Equipment categories (tagged as "vehicle")

  5. Viewing and Interpreting the Data

    • Example used: Bike Station equipment (tagged as a vehicle).

    • Data displayed includes:

      • Equipment name

      • VIN number / Unique ID

      • Vendor cost

  6. Customizing the Table View

    • Columns can be:

      • Rearranged

    • Cost per Mile is calculated and displayed:
