Custom Equipment Category Fields Creation & Management

This guide provides a step-by-step process for adding custom fields to equipment categories, within the Flowpath platform. By following these instructions, users can tailor their equipment management to better fit their specific needs, enhancing organization and efficiency. This customization allows for improved tracking and categorization, ultimately leading to better operational insights and management.

1. Click "Global Settings"

2. Click "Equipment"

3. Select the Equipment Category to add custom fields to

4. Click "Add Custom Sub Field"

5. Create a title for your field, you can edit this title any time after creation.

6. Select the type of field you would like to create.

You can also edit this after creation.

7. Click "Save"

8. You will be able to see a list of custom fields you created within each Equipment Category.

You can either edit or delete your custom fields as needed here.

9. Any asset tagged with the category will automatically have these fields actived within their equipment profile

10. These fields will be reportable fields.
