Adding Attachment Requirements to Work Order Categories

Follow these steps to require photos or attachments on specific work order categories, ensuring the right documentation is captured at the time of creation β€” whether submitted through an external form or created internally.

You must have admin rights in your instance to enable this functionality.

1. Click on your name in the bottom left corner to open your action menu.

2. Click "Global Settings"

3. Click "Work Orders"

4. Click "Categories" or scroll down to your category table.

5. Click on the category you wish to enable this feature for

6. On the General Info tab of your category settings you will find a toggle for "Require Image"

7. Once enabled make sure to click "update" to save changes.

8. Click the X in the top right corner to exit.

9. Once enabled, users will be required to upload an image or attachment before they can submit a work order or work order request, when using the enabled category.
