Watchers on an event request is a great feature to make sure many people can keep track of the progress of a work order. This is different than who is the Approver on an event request.

Watchers can be groups of individuals such as "Managers" or "Purchasing", or can be a group of individuals that would like to keep track of the progress. Tagging someone as a watcher to an event will enable the watcher to receive notifications about the event. They get notified when they are added as a watcher, then only when new comments are made from the requester. Area owners now supports groups and will automatically be added as watchers to the event.

Watchers can view the event by clicking the 'Click here to view event' button within the assignment email.
