Generate a Work Order in an Event

This guide provides instructions on how to generate a work order in an event for scheduled work order or ones that need immediate action.

2. Click "Events"

3. Select your event that needs the work order.

4. Click "Work Orders"

5. Click "Select Category" and select the proper category for the work order.

6. Click "Create"

7. "Edit Event Work Order" will pop up. Here you can change the event title as well as other information relevant to the event. You will need to select if this work order will generate only once for the first event, or generate many for every recurring date.

8. Select the Assigned User for the event work order.

9. Select Watchers for the event work order.

10. Edit the Description field.

11. Click the "Time to Create Event*" field to update the time you want the work order to be created.

12. You can edit the "Site" and "Location" for the event work order if needed. It defaults based on what was chosen on the event request.

13. If you want the work order to be created on a specific number of days before the event, please select it here to generate the work order.

14. Click "Generate Work Order NOW" if you need to generate the work order immediately.

15. A pop up will appear that says "This will create the work order now. Are you sure you want to generate the work order now?" Click "Generate NOW" to create the work order immediately.

16. The work order for the event will be created with a description auto populated based on the event details.

17. Assign users, watchers or update other fields needed as normal.

18. Edit the details if necessary.

19. The work order will move to your pending work order list view to complete.
