The United States Postal Service utilizes various codes to help organize geography in a more efficient way for deliveries. These codes can be added to your voter list as fields, and can help give you a better idea of the geographic layout of your targeted voters for purposes of door knocking or mailing. There are six different USPS Codes that can be selected as fields:

Delivery Point Code:  A specific set of digits between 00 and 99 assigned to every address. When combined with the Zip+4 Code, the delivery point provides a unique identifier for every deliverable address

Delivery Point Check Digit: A single digit that is added to the digits in a ZIP+4 Code and Delivery Point Code to validate the associated address

Carrier Route Code
: The last three digits of a 9 digit identifier assigned to a group of mailing addresses (i.e. neighborhoods) to aid in mail delivery efficiency

Example: 95765R135  The first (5) digits indicate the ZIP Code. The next digit is a letter which defines the route type (i.e. R for Rural), and the last 3 digits are the carrier route code (135).

Line of Travel / Order: A sequence required for some carrier routes, arranged by ZIP+4 Codes in the order in which the route is served by the carrier

USPS DP Verification
: Verifies that an address is deliverable; Y = Valid, N = Invalid

These fields are automatically included for the List Styles Mailing List or Walk List.

You can also create your own unique combination of fields by selecting User Defined
List
and then add the USPS code fields manually.
