How to enable Epicor Kinetic attachment support in Fluent?

The following document outlines how to add support for Attachments in Epicor Kinetic to your Fluent agent.

In Epicor:

  1. Create a new Document Type in Document Type Maintenance

    1. This can be any type that you'd like, as long as it uploads the file and doesn't only require a link (there are some Attachment Link document types). We need Epicor to upload the physical files that will be sent from Fluent.

*Note - the link in the Base URL is an example. Please replace with the file path URL you use to store documents or use your default Storage Type Doc Type!

  1. Create a new Document Type Control record, tying the new Document Type to the appropriate table for your agent (PO Header,OrderHed, APInvHed, RcvHed, CheckHed etc.)

In Fluent:

  1. Go to Manage team > Agents > Capabilities (the tab in the Agent's tabbed menu) > Scroll to the Tools section

  2. Click the pencil icon to edit the Draft Sales Order tool (or Draft Invoice, etc.)

  1. Set the Document Type ID field to the Document Type that you created in Step 1 (in this example, it would be APInvAtt)

  2. Click Update before exiting out of the side panel
