If a connection is offline, Fluent can't push processed documents to your ERP or CRM. Use the built-in diagnostic tool to identify the problem.
Opening the diagnostics
Go to Manage Team > Connections
Open the connection that's failing
Click Test Performance — the diagnostics panel runs a set of checks automatically
Click Run
What the diagnostics check
URL Validation — confirms the URL is correctly formatted
DNS Resolution — confirms the hostname resolves to an IP address
TCP Connectivity — confirms the server is reachable on the expected port
SSL Certificate — confirms the certificate is valid and not expired
Authentication — confirms the credentials are accepted by the server
Each check shows a pass, warning, or fail result with a message explaining what went wrong.
Common fixes
DNS or TCP failure — the server may be down or the URL may have changed. Verify the URL in the connection settings and confirm the server is reachable from outside your network.
SSL failure — the SSL certificate may be expired or self-signed. Contact your IT team to renew or configure the certificate.
Authentication failure — credentials (username, password, API key) have likely changed. Update them in the connection settings.
Firewall blocking Fluent — if your ERP sits behind a firewall, ensure Fluent's outbound IP addresses are allowlisted. Contact support@fluenterp.com to get the current IP list.
Tip: After updating credentials or firewall rules, re-run the diagnostics to confirm all checks pass before reprocessing any failed documents.
