How to Fix a Communication Failure (Failure to Communicate)

Communication failure occurs when the panel cannot communicate with our central station or Alarm.com service. Follow the steps below to bring your panel back online:

  1. Swipe down to access the menu and select Settings.


  2. Select Settings.

  3. Select Advanced Settings and enter the master code.

  4. Press System Tests.

  5. Press Cellular Test.

  6. Press Start.

  7. If successful, hit the house icon to return to the home screen. If unsuccessful, please give us a call at 855-238-4826 for further troubleshooting.
