A guide to the 3 day verification window for national ads.

The verification policy is designed to ensure we can send as much money to student media as possible as quickly as possible.

Verification policy

Verifications for national ads are due within 3 business days of the run date. Unless the ads booked are for Print, OOH, or Street Team, verifications for these products are due the day the ad goes live. For example, if an ad runs on Tuesday, the verification is due by 5 p.m. ET on Friday.

If you have yet to submit verification within 24 hours*, you'll receive daily email reminders from the flytedesk platform that you have verifications pending upload. On day 3, your Account Manager will contact you to discuss your verification.

After 3 business days, we can't guarantee payment for the ad, even if the ad ran.

Why 3 days?

Our verification deadline allows us to send you faster payments. It also ensures that we give our national buyers a great experience working with flytedesk so they'll continue to spend money with student media.

Faster invoicing means faster payments

Invoicing our national buyers on time means we can pay you faster for the ads you run.

National buyers can't see proof of their ad without verification, so we can't invoice for unverified ads. This ensures that national buyers only pay for ads that run and avoid us having to credit their money back.

Flytedesk's sales team provides regular updates with all the verification images, digital stats, and social analytics from a national buyer's campaign to deliver them the best possible experience buying college media. On-time verifications ensure we can provide them with this information and deliver accurate, complete status reports as their campaign progresses.

What happens if I submit my verification late?

We're passionate about bringing money to student media, so we will email and call your account's contact info incessantly one day after the 3-day deadline to ensure we can pay you for the national ads you run.

After the 3-day mark, we can't guarantee that a national buyer will pay for any ads verified after the deadline.
