Verifications are essential to provide reports and proof of purchase for national brands & keep money flowing in for student media. Verifications are due within 3 business days of an ad run date and are required for national ads (unlike Ad Shop ads).

This article will help you get started with national verifications. If you need to know how to verify a specific ad type, read all about it on one of these pages:

You'll receive daily email reminders about any verifications pending upload. You can also see the number of verifications pending upload from your Dashboard when you log in:

Verifying Ads

To verify your national ads:

  1. Start at the Verifications page of your account. Locate the ad you want to verify and click the '+' sign under the 'Verification' column.

Pro Tip: Filter where the status is "Unverified" to find your outstanding verifications faster:

2. Click on the '+' sign under the Verification column, then upload all the required verification parts. There are three parts to any verification:

  • Image: Upload all verification photos in .jpg or .png format.*

  • Metrics: Certain products require additional metric information, such as the total number of impressions and clicks for E-mail ads. If this information is required, a specific field will be in the verification window.

  • Description: National brands love to see how campuses interact with their ads. Include extra details like an overheard positive comment on a news rack ad (Learn more about Additional Information). Once you've uploaded your verification, you're all set!

*Note: Requirements differ for each media type, so please review the media-specific guidelines (linked at the beginning of this article) before submitting.

Once you've uploaded your verification, you're all set!

Account managers will review your verification and mark it 'Approved' if it meets all the guidelines. You can return to the verification window anytime to make changes to your verification.

If your verification does not meet all the guidelines, your Account Manager will reject the verification and leave a note on the platform with further instructions.

Submit your verifications as soon as possible after the ad runs to maximize buyer satisfaction. (You have 3 business days to submit your verification before your payment is at risk.)

We know life happens, and sometimes ads don't run as scheduled. You can proactively resolve issues by implementing a make good policy.Image: Upload all verification photos in .jpg or .png format.*
