Here's what the national sales process looks like

Flytedesk is the ad operating system for your student media organization - hundreds of publishers are using the Flytedesk media kit to sell their inventory. So, how does Flytedesk use this information on a national scale?

We compile those hundreds of media kits into a single buying platform for national brands and media agencies. Like publishers, national brands have accounts with Flytedesk to buy advertising at our hundreds of member campuses.

Think of us as an AirBnB for ads - people (publishers) with space for rent (or media advertising opportunities) enter their information, and people (brands, agencies, causes) with vacation time (or advertising money to spend) book the space.

Flytedesk has an in-house national sales team focused solely on pitching the value of college media and getting more brands to use our technology. Our sales team communicates with national brands and agencies looking to reach college students & faculty/staff. This includes but is not limited to restaurant chains, voter registration non-profits, and recruitment firms.

Our value to brands is the ability to filter down their audience and book student media on many campuses in a single click. Once a national buyer is happy with their campaign, the order goes "live," and insertion orders are sent to all the publishers in the campaign. How can I have my organization included on more national campaigns?

In most cases, national buyers are very strategic and specific about which campuses they want to launch campaigns on. Email, Digital, Print, and OOH are the products that appeal most to national buyers. Organizations offering these products are more likely to be included on campaigns, so make sure your Account Manager knows what's available. We'll always promote publishers who are reliable and execute well.
