Flytedesk is most useful when everyone who needs it has access. For example, if you give your layout team access, they can easily download the creative without asking you to send it to them manually.

Ready to set your team up?

Once you log onto the platform, navigate to the top-right corner of the dashboard. Click on your publication name, then select โ€œMy Account.โ€

The settings page is where you can manage your user account and organization's Information.

Click on the Team tab. You can invite team members, assign roles, and update your Primary and Billing contact information here.

Adding team members:

  • Click on Invite user.

  • Add the team member's email and their role.

  • Hit send invites, and your team member will receive an email from flytedesk with instructions to set up their account.

* The person listed as the primary contact receives notifications regarding all activity within the platform. They can not unsubscribe from receiving notifications. They are also the person we contact once a campaign is ready to be booked.

Here's some helpful information about user roles:

Admin: Can do everything on the platform.

Suggested role for business managers and advisors.

Edit: Can do everything on the platform except manage higher-level settings like the organization name and team members.

Suggested role for members of the business admin team.

Collaborate: Permission to perform day-to-day campaign operations (like managing customers, uploading creatives, etc.), but cannot edit anything involving what your publication sells (i.e., media kit settings, Ad Shop, billing).

Suggested role for members of the sales team.

View: Only has permission to view pages in the platform to download assets (i.e., IO, creatives, etc.). Cannot upload or edit anything.

Suggested role for layout/design team.
